Local Pick Up/Delivery - Guelph, ON
If you are located within the Guelph area, we offer free local pick up on all orders. Depending on your location we may also be able to provide free delivery. If you select "Free Local Pickup" at checkout we will contact you after you place your order to arrange a time for pickup or delivery.
We ship orders using Canada Post, Fedex, UPS, Canpar or Purolator. Shipping on orders over $125 is free within Canada and there is a flat rate of $12 on orders under $125. Remote postal code areas in Canada are subject to a $15 flat rate. Courier shipping is available for a flat rate of $15. Unfortunately Yellow Birch cannot be held responsible for packages stolen after delivery confirmation. Letter mail shipping is available for small low cost items such as 1 diaper cover. There is a flat rate of $3.95 and no tracking or insurance is available. Yellow Birch cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged or stolen letter mail packages.
Orders to the US under $150 are charged a flat rate of $15 and orders over $150 qualify for free shipping. Packages are shipped by Canada Post and come with tracking. We are not responsible for any duty or tax that may be charged. Unfortunately Yellow Birch cannot be held responsible for packages stolen after delivery confirmation.
International order shipping rates are calculated at the checkout using Canada Post services with tracking. We can also ship by courier which is sometimes more cost effective. If you would like a courier quote, please send us an email with your full address and the product you are interested in ordering. We can only ship using services that come with tracking.
We want you to have your stuff sooner so we strive to ship all orders placed before 3pm EST the same day* (Monday to Friday). *occasionally we may not be able to accommodate same day shipping. In that case orders will be shipped within 1-3 business days.
Should you choose to cancel your order before it has shipped, there will be a 10% restocking fee charged.
If you would like to purchase a carrier by Layaway use the code "LAYAWAY" at the checkout. To secure your layaway, you will pay a 25% non refundable deposit (we can not allow cancellations on layaways). You will then have 60 days to complete the payment. You may do this in one installment or more if you prefer. If you would like us to send you an invoice for payment amounts, we can send you an invoice by paypal. Once full payment has been completed, your order will be shipped to you. ***Layaway is not available for items on sale or clearance***
We accept returns on unused, unopened items that are returned to us in the original packaging within 15 days of purchase. Please contact us first if you have a product you would like to return. Shipping charges are non-refundable and a 10% restocking fee will be deducted. The buyer is responsible for the cost of returning the product to us. If you received free shipping on your item(s), the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your credit.
Should a returned item show obvious signs of wear, dirt, pet hair etc. additional fees may be added.
Sale, pre-order, special order and clearance items are final sale but are covered under their manufacturer's warranties in case of defects.
If you have received defective merchandise due to damage in the post please contact us prior to washing or use. Manufacturers defects/flaws will be covered under the manufacturer's warranty and can be dealt with directly through the manufacturer. If you have a manufacturers issue we can assist you with whom to contact.
Additional non-returnable items:
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
To return your product, please contact us for our mailing address.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
We are not perfect and may make errors in pricing or promotions. We reserve the right to cancel/not honour prices/discounts on orders if pricing errors occur.
