During the Carrier Fitting I will go over basic babywearing safety with you, have you fitted with a demo carrier/carriers using a weighted babywearing doll or your baby and discuss how to safely use each carrier.
You may be wondering why you should pay for a Carrier Fitting when you could visit a babywearing group or babywearing friend for free. That is also an option for you and babywearing groups/friends can help support you on your babywearing journey. For some people, a one on one setting with a trained babywearing professional can be more stress free and it may also be more comforting to know that you are receiving current advice/industry practices from a trained industry professional. I have over 9 years of personal experience babywearing and I have completed an extensive 4 day Babywearing Educator course through the Canadian Babywearing School. I pride myself on keeping up to date on babywearing safety, techniques and new products. I'm interested in your comfort and if there is a suitable carrier that my store doesn't sell, I will recommend other stores to purchase from. I have demo carriers for every style and brand of baby carrier that I sell as well as several different sizes of woven wraps.
Meggan was very knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect carrier for our new baby. Would recommend Yellow Birch to anyone who wants to baby wear.
Had a great experience at Yellowbirch. Personalized service and fitting. I got to tru on as many carriers as I needed too and it was tailored to me needs with a carrier. I was also able to send her pictures through email once I eas home to make sure I had put my baby in the carrier correctly. I would recommend Yellowbirch to others.
Having a carrier fitting session with Meggan was so helpful. She had a great selection of carriers and was very helpful and knowledgable. I ended up purchasing a carrier that fits really well and is super comfortable. I would definitely recommend Yellow Birch!
Went with my six week old to find the perfect carrier for us. There was lots of selection! I would recommend always trying on a variety of carriers before committing to one. The Pikkolo was simple, light and very comfy for my baby. He falls asleep in this carrier before we even leave the house :)
I have two big dogs and baby wearing is the only way, and this carrier rocks!
